Stephen H. Artman, Esq.
Mr. Artman was born in Nurnberg, Germany, and grew up in Lakeland, Florida. He attended Auburn University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree, and University of Oklahoma, where he pursued a master's degree in Public Administration. He graduated with high honors from Mercer University School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Artman was a Field Artillery Officer in the United States Army.
Mr. Artman was a summer associate for Jones, Cork, & Miller, in Macon, Georgia. Upon graduation from law school in 1989, Mr. Artman was a litigation attorney for Jon H. Anderson & Associates, P.A. in Lakeland, Florida. In 1991, he decided to open his own firm.
Mr. Artman is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, Lakeland Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers, and Attorney's Title Insurance Fund, Inc. Mr. Artman is actively involved in Wilson American Inn of Court and serves as a volunteer Guardian Ad litem for the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court for Polk County, Florida.
Mr. Artman and his wife, Karen, live in Lakeland and have three children.
